Finally I have it, and I never want to use it…

It doesn’t want to be hit either. It knows it has a limited number of swings before it completely and utterly essssssplodes.

I think you’re supposed to drag them behind your cart or was that just last year’s trend?

Nope. Definitely, still a thing.

Good to know. I’m always late on trends.

My friend put PPF on his, lol. It actually looked better than I thought it would when he first told me about it. Just the sole and the crown area, not the face. Unless you’re hitting Topflite XL golf rocks, you shouldn’t scar the face with modern golf balls.

Whatever you do don’t hit a new Callaway or Ping driver. Then you will really never want to hit it.

Are you saying this because you prefer those drivers?

I’m going to say yes that is what they’re saying.

@Dale
I hear Taylormade breaks a lot. So idk I’ve hit both those brands before and Taylormade for me feels great but to each their own.

Spicy

With how often I’ve seen them crack, I wouldn’t want to use it either.

Are there any drivers that typically last longer?

My old Titleist 925D lasted over 20 years. I guarantee it could go for another 20.

I just got a brand new odyssey putter. My first brand new expensive club. I had it set up outside taking a picture but it fell over. Since it was sitting on cement when it fell over, it had enough momentum to move a bit, which instantly put a scratch on the side of my putter. Before I fucking used it once. I was mad then but couldn’t care less now.

@Zayne
That’s what you get for being a Chad trying to take a picture of your golf club for the ‘Gram, ya douche!

Lmao I was trying to send it to my brother! Ya little shit.

It’s only new once. Go ahead and get a mark on it and you won’t be as worried. Works for tools, musical instruments, cars, etc.

Just wrap the entire thing in duct tape, except the heel or toe…whichever is your sweet spot.

It’s like a new car. I almost appreciate the first scratch, so I can stop giving a shit. Go pound that thing around the course and reap the rewards.

Use black or plastic tees and have a blast! (Never paint white tees with a black driver if you care about the look).
