If you don’t like the flop shot, check of Phil Mickelson’s “hinge and hold”. Same idea, just using body rotation instead of loose hands and up and down arms. I use both this and the flop shot, depending on the lie. Open stance and open face (as needed) either way. Whatever the choice, don’t quit on it.
@Mackenzie
That video is entertaining if nothing else… Phil roasts.
OIC I thought you were in the trap up against or also thought why is the senior tee box there.
Anyways was gonna say I played with a 2 and he hit it backwards so if that’s what you did then kudos.
Flop shot…easy
Trouble Wedge time.

Pitched it onto the dance floor!
Get your flop out
Why do you call it wall of death?
Chip and a putt
Played a shot against something very similar at Majestic by lake geneva. I was able to get it out.
Is that Coal City ?
Always so scared of the bunker I can’t help but to hit an extra 5+ yds in these situations
You know you’re gonna take 5 whacks at it so why not take one whack backwards and then go over the bunker ! You just saved 3+ strokes
Huh?
My 70* wedge has entered the chat
Anything is possible if you grip it and rip it.
Winter is coming.
I’m chipping that past the flag 100%
