Some things are funnier in your own head.

That one was tough to spot, buddy.
I suppose you’re right. If I have to call it out, that’s more on me than anyone else. Not quitting the day job anytime soon.

Can we please explore a name change for this tour…please.
Explore you say…?
Dude is elite in just about everything besides the last round of a major these days.
I’m like 99% sure it doesn’t stand for double penetration, but I am not sure what DP stands for.
Interesting to note he had a Vokey in the bag. Two of the world’s best that are TM staffers having Vokeys is certainly interesting.
After the year he’s had and what he’s had to put up with, I’m so happy for him! Way to go Rory!
IMO you should not get points for joint events. The fact that Rory can still win and only play 2-3 events is shambolic.

His season results for events that counted for Europe are: T2, 1, T22 (Masters), T12 (PGA), 2 (USO), T4, MC (Open), 2, T2, T25, T3, 1. If you don’t think those results are good enough, then idk what you think would be.

Meh, the Majors make sense and then it’s only the co-sanctioned events which make sense as the DP World Tour leads several co-sanctioned events now with the Australasian and Sunshine tours. What you’re thinking about is probably the Rolex Series events which offer so many points, but he’s played 12 this season, winning 2, runner-up in 4, 3rd in 1, and 4th in 1. The only missed cut was The Open itself with a next worst finish of T25 at the Alfred Dunhill.
@Sky
It’s just frustrating that DP World players can’t win it because he comes along every year and plays a handful of events and wins the entire thing!

I mean he does turn up and just destroy everyone, which is a testament to his quality. It might be better next season if they end up with an agreement with LIV to let Hatton, Rahm, and the others play, especially with it being a Ryder Cup year meaning they want qualification.
I mean, look at Rasmus who’s finished 2nd; he’s been very inconsistent throughout the year and hasn’t been at the very pointy end in the biggest events. There are loads of chances to pick up points throughout the year to challenge. It’s just when push comes to shove, Rory can rock up anywhere and be in contention while the others have to rely on their form at the time.
Was this DP on BBC?

Move over Tiger.
Rory finally got DP’d!
