I am considering switching to Kirkland Signature golf balls but have seen mixed reviews. Some say they’re fantastic and comparable to Pro V1s, while others mention losing distance because of excessive spin. I play off 12 with a driver swing speed of around 100 mph and have low spin, especially with irons.
Currently, I use second-hand Pro V1s and Pro V1xs, which I get four around £1 each. I’ve compared them to new Pro V1s and found the cores almost identical. I’m thinking about sticking to one brand for consistency, but golf balls are expensive.
Being in the UK, it’s hard to get my hands on K-Sigs, and I’d have to buy a large quantity. Right now, only V2s are available, and they’re out of stock.
What are your honest opinions on the K-Sig balls? Did you notice any significant distance loss from tee to green? How does the V3 compare to the V2?

I hated the V2 Kirkland balls—poor durability and too much spin. The V3 is better, not fantastic, but usable.
Good reviews of Kirkland balls often mention the price. You’ll hear, “For the price, they’re good,” or “I prefer Pro V1, but for a dollar a ball, I’ll use Kirkland.” No one says they’d pay $50 for a dozen or that they’re the best balls ever.
In short, don’t go out of your way to get Kirkland balls. If you can’t access them, you’re not missing much.

The balls with the increased spin, the V2, felt a little stiff to me. To me, though, they seemed to play just well.
The V3s are said to have less spin and to be slightly softer, and they are receiving very positive reviews. Next year, I am going to give the new yellow ones a go.
If you want a ball that feels nice and soft, choose the Vice Pro. Pro Plus feel excellent but are a little firmer. All year long, I have been playing them.

If I am being really honest, I was considering the Vice Pro, but it still costs twice as much as a Ksig.

They are not that horrible! They are higher spin, as some have noted, but I do not think that is a bad thing at all. The only thing about them that I have noticed is that, for me, a 7-iron is about 8–10 yards shorter, so in some situations, I just club up a little. Remember that I am not a particularly good scientist, nor am I a terrific golfer. It is simply something I have observed.

For this reason, I intend to give the Kirkland a try.
I only purchase Vice during their buy five, get one free promotions. Regretfully, they have increased their prices by $3 per day.
Right present, the only premium ball available for less than $30/dzn is Kirkland.
Considering a switch to Kirkland Signature golf balls, I’ve seen mixed reviews about their performance. Some golfers find them comparable to Pro V1s, while others report losing distance due to excessive spin. With a driver swing speed of around 100 mph and low spin with irons, I’m wondering if K-Sig balls will affect my game, especially since I currently use second-hand Pro V1s for their consistency and value. In the UK, I’m facing challenges finding Kirkland balls, particularly the V3, which is out of stock. Any insights on whether the V3 offers improvements over the V2 and if you’ve experienced significant distance loss with K-Sig balls would be appreciated.
